About ServiceOnline:

Service Online is one of the first Singapore based online service booking platforms. Different from the current online shopping platforms in Singapore like Shopee or Lazada, Service Online is focus on service bookings instead of physical products. The service category covers almost all the local life needs, from home cleaning and repairing, courses, fitness, to leisure activities, medical and health care, dining, business services, etc., Service Online is committed to making service booking as simple as online shopping.

"Booking Online, Consuming Offline" is the basic service model on Service Online platform, that is, consumers book the service in advance on the platform according to the service content and fixed price published by the merchant and then complete the online payment. On the day of the appointment, the merchant will fulfill the order and the consumer will evaluate the service quality. If all satisfied, the consumer will confirm the service delivery and instruct the platform to release the payment to the merchant.

To consumers, they are able to search service providers, compare prices, place orders, make payment and appointment on one single platform, instead of screening services on search engines and making phone calls with sellers for comparison. They are empowered to select service providers based on the track records and historical ratings to ensure the service quality, they will also have the power to freeze the money until the service is satisfied.

To merchants, Service Online provides a direct platform to setup online shop and collect orders 24/7. Sellers will also benefit from the online transaction records and ratings which will greatly help to enhance the brand awareness, reputation and loyalty. They don't need to pay any upfront fee except a minor commission until they get real orders, which is definitely more friendly to merchants compare with the traditional ad model.
